So anyone else have a yeti xl, just got mine recently



Got it built the other day... But have to wait on a set of new front hubs axial sent 2 left hubs with it... (kit) before I can drive it tried with it like it is but way to much torque and the front right dogbone falls out...

Thanks, but Yea when I ordered this i almost just ordered the 10th scale but then I saw the price of the xl kit I was like **** might aswell get this instead of the small one

Great looking truck. I've been eyeballing the XL myself. I just sold my slash and am looking for something to fill the gap. Any other issues besides the dogbones? I've been trying to decide between a yeti, xmaxx (although I'm aware of the xmaxx's issues so its probably not a real contender) or maybe do something different and go with a grand hauler, trailfinder 2, or the tamiya mountain rider. Leaning towards the yeti atm but my mind changes in the blink of an eye. ;)

no issues really with it only reason the front right done bone was falling out is because of the right steering knuckle, the axial factory worker that put my kit in the box put 2 left steering knuckles. have a right one now after axial sent me another set of them..(was cool of them but i wasnt gonna complain if they didnt since its only 5$ for the replacement hubs and i got a AWESOME deal on it already lol... about 140$ off basically got it when tower was having 2 sales at the same time and they could be stacked on eachother)

so i figured out how long i can run this thing.. with the system i have in it i got about 30min of run time and i only used 1400mah out of the 6000mah that my batteries im running are so if im right i can easily get over an hour of run time as its set up right now... just if i can keep it together that long tho,, i replaced the diff bearing then blew it again on the next run(on a 30foot jump tho thats why it blew, it blew on landing)


but that just seems crazy to me over an hour of run time capability and possibly even longer(2hr since the math adds up to 2hrs20min or so, but i will never run it that long)
