Is Sept.28th,29,and 30th the correct date for the Worlds this year,I thought is was always the weekend of Columbus day.
The last full weekend in Sept.is always booked for us.

yea i had planned on tryin to make it but the rcmtra finals is usually that weekend and i plan to race it.

There is a wedding the weekend in Oct. we have the worlds. John the onwer's girl is getting married. That is what they are saying.

Well i dont know i guess whats got to be has got to be, right now i dont know if we can make it,Just wish it would have been any other weekend,
I have missed the last 2 year going to the Nationals because it was so close to our Vacation time and now its even closer,Looks like we might be going a year without pulling.

Jeff and I are kinda bummed as well because they are on vacation elsewhere that weekend :( I guess we will be attending the springs now for sure instead.

I don't remember for sure why the date go changed. Maybe it had something to do with the owners daughter having a wedding there on our normal date and it had to be moved?
Maybe it had something to do with Thanksgiving in Canada?
I know the October date there was no holidays here in Mich.

I will send Matt a note and ask him to stop by and explain it.

There were a few things that factored in to the date change. The first one was that our Columbus day is the Canadian Thanksgiving. The next reason was to give people a two weekend break before the iHobby Expo. And the last reason is that the hotel realy wanted to give Columbus day weekend to a school that couldn't make it happen the weekend that we took.

Matt, just for future reference...is this a new date for future worlds events? I know in the past it has typically been that Oct. weekend? Just curious to know.
