WK to CK, just an OEM chassis flip for weight bias???

Look, I know this is going to end up a silly question,
but after reading/looking at enough pics, vids, and manuals,
some of which were from back when the "Crawler King" first came out,
I am still a bit confused....

Did HPI just flip the OEM frame around to get the battey housing up front,
over the steering axle, or does their crawler conversion have extra parts
to put the batt box over the front axle/servo and away from the trany
without flipping the chassis??

The thing looks 60/40 in the WK pics to me, (rear weight bias) but 50/50 in some of the CK pics??

I have extra parts from a WK/CK I got in trade, and the alloy links are all 72mm.
Chassis, axles, those links, trany, but that was it, nothing more.
So I dont know what they did, or where the bias is on either version.

I have to guess they only flipped it around, but I cant tell
from the some of the "older/VS/newer" pics I have seen???

I just ordered the new-ish "Wheely King" 2.4 GHz RTR version
because HPI has a $25 off promotion for it untill 9/30/12
and with my Tower Hobbies buyers club discount,
I got the "BRAND NEW" WK/2.4/full bearings/waterproof(LOL?)/RTR for $165.!!!!

I couldnt pass that up, and I want to run it stock for a short while,
but am looking into my other options as well.
Should be a fun snow-cap beater for this winter,
but I want it to stay a Monster Truck, not a crawler etc...

The only other thing I have for it past STOCK/BOXED is the
CENTERED OVER AXLE servo mount (WK-08)
by Level3-RC that I bought for the axles I got in trade,
and plans to fabricate my own steering links and rear lock-outs.
OH, and a 645MG HT servo if the OEM one lets go too soon.

I would LOVE an Aluminum chassis also, but past Integy and STRC,
I just dont see where all these aftermarket parts are that the WK/CK fans are talking about?

Help me out guys. I jumped into this blind with a two day shipping option
just to catch the deal, and I am a bit lost.............. but no regrets!

links and steering rod is longer than stock,
also the lower suspension mount on the axles are different which lowers and stretches it longer
then because it is longer it has new longer driveshafts
body mounts are different, they shift the body some and use a wider mounting pattern
