Hey all...been a long time since I have been on any forums for r/c let alone here. Owned alot in the past, and foolishly sold them when we needed money throughout the years...soo...now Im back, and hoping to start getting another fleet of monster trucks...We used to do sledpulls up in Green Bay,wi, and usually just bash around in Shawano, or Sheboygan. Looking to find 1 or 2 TXT-1 for starters as the last three I had were all custom in one way or another. Just thought I would say hiya!

Thanks for the welcome!! I just talked to my dad up north, and will be going up on Sunday to pick up his Clod puller to put back together for him...its been about 5-7 years since I bought it for him from another forum member (cant remember which forum..lol) so that will be my first official step back into r/c monster trucks...Im also keeping my eyes peeled on craigslist, and hoping to come across my old txt with 1/8 scale grave digger body, or my t-maxx powered txt...sigh..a guy can hope right?..lol

Welcome aboard
The TXT right now is a tough one, support is at an all time low so used ones have become the go to.

i've gone the Wheely King modified route due to the parts are in great supply :)

WOW!..I have really lost touch then...That really sucks. Are they still in current production, or have they ceased and just selling on the overstocks? That really bums me out. I suppose its the axle gears that are scarce? I had wanted to pick up alum. axle housings, and build another showpiece, but it seems they are scarce as well now. Guess I better look at two then so I can at least have a shelf queen...ugh.

I kinda wish I had taken an old CNC job further...sigh.

edit...wow..even the New ERA tubers, and other guys who were selling Tube chassis have all but dis"C"appeared?

RC4WD has some nice stuff that can be "monsterized"
John Boyer is still doing tubers, but there is a waiting list

Axial axles have proven they can be used on monster trucks and there is TONS of aftermarket options and hop ups

Excellent, thanks for the info. Yeah Boyer tubers were in demand 5-6 years ago? Glad he is still doing them!
