If I decide I like lipo and want to continue to use them then next time a race comes around ill make sure if I have lipo's, they are roar legal. I dont want the rules bend or anything because thats what they are there for, and im not asking that at all. Thanks for the info Mike :)

(also, what would the minimum C rating be? like 20c for Stampede/etc. and 25-30 for Clod/dual motors?)

For single motor apps not sure but probably any rating is good. I just know that for dual motors and what we are doing, 25C is the lowest *safe* rating I'd recommend. The higher the better for Clod racing. I specifically went with Thunderpower because they have high mah and 40C rating packs. When dual BL motors call for full power you better have a pack in there that can answer that call LOL!!

Sounds good... like I said, still learning anyways. I wouldnt have ran the lipo's at this event anyways even if I did have them already. I want to learn more about them and see how you guys handle them and stuff before I even try out my own. Then once ive gotten a handle on my cheap packs I can slowly start buying better packs. Thanks again :)

It's easy Nick, but I do understand being nervous about trying something new, I was the same way. You just need to see for yourself that there's not much to it and you'll be fine.

Yeah, I'll race something. It won't be as many, I've already made my mind up. That's the irony of it too........ I finally have awesome batteries and BL systems to run probably 12 but will likely only run 6 or 7.

Apparently I wont be running my TF unless I find parts now LOL Took it out for a test run and think I shattered the rear axle gears.

Ohhh the Humanity!!! LOL

My pinion gear is in at least 2 pieces and my ring gears teeth are all chewed up and bent to one side LOL

Time to make a Tower order :(

You guys are killing me. We are a week away and I have not even touched one of our clods. I have been too busy building bodies for other guys. I might be able to get to one or two later this week. Looking forward to the race again tough!!

Ugh... 11th trip out there, ill be logging my 14000'th mile on the way home this time. I think im addicted LOL

My cousin might be making the trip with my dad and I too. Hopefully I can talk him into turn marshalling and maybe running novice :)
