That ... or take everyone else out first ... :rofhey, to finish first, you must first finish![]()
ok, never used a transponder (so I suppose I'm dating myself a little ... damn, I can't imagine how we got by back in the day). So do you need a special mount, or just a place to mount one ?Well, the time is near, everybody:tmb I hope all is going well in getting ready. I am getting there, slowly but surely.
One quick reminder to all first timers. We use transponders for lap counting purposes. Either have a transponder moount installed before you get to the race or make it a top priority to get one at the track and install it. Some people just drill a hole in their body and mount it that way. But, if you don't want to go punching a big hole in a nice custom body, be sure to get a transponder mount and mount it somewhere in the chassis.
Anyone got a picture of a typical mount? Maybe I can help Denver come up with one quickly. Basically you need a flat tab with a 1/4" hole in it to mount the transponder, correct? Closer to the front of the vehicle is better. ANy help would be appreciated.Well, the time is near, everybody:tmb I hope all is going well in getting ready. I am getting there, slowly but surely.
