Was on youtube BS-ing around and decided to look up the Mad Force VE and found a few cool vids.....IMO...and I started wondering why more people dont have one of these trucks...seems like a **** of a basher, and could hang with other independent suspension trucks....Ive been looking at it since last year and I noticed a few people got 1

I bashed mine but broke it... Too hard for me to get parts. It wasn't really until after I sold it that I realized A Main Hobbies had almost all of the parts for them.

I've been wanting one for a while. A main hobbies has them for around $410. That's super cheap for a rtr with brushless.

I think it has a LOT to do with kyosho's crappy marketing.

Super Shafty carries parts as well as a-main and e-pay

$410 is a good price...everywhere I looked the price was near $500 or more. I wouldnt mind having 1 in the future. Even the Nitro one looks pretty cool.

Tons of fun but mine has been unreliable thus far (drove it twice, broke it twice and was just driving it around an open lot with no jumps or anything of the sort) and reverse has stopped working already.

Combine that with abysmal parts and customer service and I think most are gun shy of Kyosho. Not real worried about it, what is happening is sloved by the aftermarket.

I bought my nitro version used off of epay almost a year ago. The only thing I have broken has been the pull start, other than that it has taken any abuse I have thrown at it and it has been a lot easier to tune and maintain than my T-maxx.
As long as A-main keeps up with supplying the stock replacements parts, there shouldnt be an issue. Also with a company like Supershafty making some excellent upgrades I am confident this truck will remain my favorite.
Definitely down the line I would like to get the brushless version.

The Nitro one is definitely cool too. Ive seen a few nice builds on the brushless one too.. I think someone is working on a tuber as well.

I can't get that past that god-awful chassis and angled shocks. It's not scale-looking at all. No aftermarket company makes a scale or semi-scale chassis for it. I hate that awkward-looking 2-link system. Parts were impossible to get back then. I already own a fast, unrealist brushless MT.
I do love the MF Kruiser axles, and I like the stock body.

Its one of the best MT racetrucks there is, just ask Mike Eckenrode. I have a Twin Force and a Mad Force and they are both some of my toughest, funnest trucks to drive. I had a ton of electronic problems with the Twin which caused me to despise it for a few years but I finally got all that sorted out. The Mad Force needs me to convert it to Revo shafts like I did on the Twin and then it would be just as fun and durable. I stocked up on enough spare parts with the Twin to almost build another truck so no problems there. If I was to get another double of any truck I have it would be the MF.

Ive always liked yours Dom.....very clean and mean looking.

I asked my friend at the hobby shop if he could order one but it said it was discontinued..I think it would be a good basher if I ever got tired of my Savage and wanted a good RTR "Brushless Basher"..gets me back to solid axle and still can do alot with it. Maybe Santa will look out for me this year lol :cool

Just found my Twin Force in parts in a box in my room, going to put it all together one of these days, I'll be putting in an emaxx transmission.

The Twin/Mad Force is in my opinion the best monster that has been made. In stock form it blows away any other truck in speed, handling and durability. I have owned just about any monster that has been made and I would rather have a twin than any other. I will always love a clod but you can't beat the crap out of it like you can a twin.

Dominick Shauntee, you stop posting pics right this minute!! You and Tad are trying to make me get one come Christmas/tax time. Lord know I need that money for MT rims on my 1:1.

I have the earlier brushless one, with the am radio and auto setup esc (both the am radio and old esc have gone, I have the newer Team Orion R8, and it wont do flips).

I break lot's of stuff on it, but I am hard on it. It's a great truck and I love jumping it and doing wheelies etc

It could do with some Supershafty New Era and TTR upgrades, I will get there one day.

I too love the stock body but it's $104 from A main for the factory painted one or $89 for the Nitro one, or $42 for the clear one, and they get wrecked real easily.

I still would never sell it, it's a fantastic MT for the money, and who else makes this grade of Solid Axle truck anymore?

A couple of my friends have the Nitro versions, on is the old original MF and the other has a Nitro Kruiser and a Clone,
They sound awesome when changing gears!

Here is an old video of mine when it was running poorly (back when I didn't realise it was trying to auto setup and I was pulling the throttle trying to make it go lol)
They are much faster than this stock:
