Who wants to see William G build a Zilla 2?!?

I was working on my Zilla 2 build tonight and was thinking that I would like to see Bill get one and cut the chassis rails a bit. Who's with me?!

the problem is actually finding a used one cheap enough to make it worth while.
Somebody has one I'd do it for them, but to buy everything needed isn't going to happen anytime soon. Sorry, no spare funds for starting a full scratch build clod project

I can't picutre how it would be if the side "U" bars were shortened. then the body would be real low and near the tires/axles wouldn't it?

Taller body posts would most likely fix that. Billiam is always creative and had been wanting to cut the U bars for a while - I think he should!

Then there would be a ugly gap between the body and upper frame rails... I'm sure bill could figure something out. There is a zilla 2 chassis in the b/s/t but the seller never responded to me I was gonna grab it if it was cheap enough

I hope i dont overstep my bounds here by saying this was a little uncalled for I sure wouldn't want people trying to force me into building a new truck especially when i'm the one paying for it. Now if your all friends and have known each other for years i guess its a good joke and stuff.

To me someone who has minimal experience with bill and really only talk to him when buying a truck and looking at his builds it seems he is not really interested in clods, but more Shaftys(wheely kings and txt-1s)

Again sorry if i missed the joke here or im missing all those private messages sent through out the years and such and stepped on some toes and such.

That's a good idea. Maybe a shaft truck with the Zilla 2 chassis. I just love Bill's builds and I know he's suggested cutting the U bars - when and if he can I'd like to see his creativity with it.

I think you're looking at things a little too literal Stephen. I don't think anyone is trying to "force" Bill to do anything. I took it as simply someone wanting to see what Bill could do with a custom Zilla 2 chassis. The guy has a lot of creativity when it comes to builds - crossing over platforms and custom parts and the like. It would be the same as me posting that "I think HawnMT needs to build a King Sling because the guy cuts the sickest custom tires ever!!" Look it as a compliment more than a directive to do something.

On another note I have $50 sponsorship money waiting in PP for this project to happen. If Bill has any desire to do a custom Zilla 2 and is going to make it to Clodapalooza to race it, I'd love to see the results of the build and the racing. Anyone else want to hop on the sponsor bandwagon?

nah, it's all in good fun. I have a couple smaller projects I've been messing with lately or I'd jump at it.

I have 3 projects in the works now, only one is a RCMT type and it's really just a plan for a chassis and no axles even bought yet.

As for making it to clodapalooza it's not looking good for me as I would need to go with somebody and he lost his drivers license for too many tickets.

I'll tell you guys what, I'll try this in September funds allowing, sound good?

LOL, thanks for that John. That is a project I've already collected parts for, I just need to get through a few others before I can get to it.
