Just cause a truck isn't solid axle doesn't mean it isn't fun to drive or race. Both are fun:wnk

Somebody at one of our events a while back took a 4x4 Slash and made a 4x4 Pede out of it and it ran pretty well. I think this is LONG overdo for there to be a 4x4 Pede. How long has it been said.... The only truck in its size better than a Pede, would be a 4x4 Pede and now it is coming. Great day for rc.

We were talking about the Big size rally version last night at the track. Everybody said, IF they made one that big, they would buy it. Not only because it is big, but it is traxxas. Parts are always available, at just about any hobby shop, and its a already proven chassis design.
TRAXXAS!!!! MAKE IT!!!!
Just need new style rims, tires, body mounts...and one HUGE body!!!
There was a big discussion about a ''nastruck'' made from a narrowed stretched rustler using short course wheels on rcca when Kyle Shrub Bush had the traxxas truck sponsorship. Basicly a 1/8th 2wd parkinglot racer high enough you can run on even rough pavement lots. That even had an editor looking for an older Associated DS to build into one.

I know, I was trying to get a ''ford vs chevy'' thing going over that comment and failed miserably. :laugh

Where was this thing in 1997 when I went to the hobby shop to get a 4x4 MT as my first hobby-grade r/c?? I would love to get one, but I just wish they'd give it a rest with those god-awful gray plastics already:ack It's enough to keep me away until an after market black chassis pops up.

I like the grey plastics.. I hope tower actually sells it for 369 like the slash 4x4. Right now they have it at 399.

Also I don't understand all the hate for independent suspension?? I've had clods a wheely king and a mad force and they all drove like crap. This stampede will jump and handle better than any solid axle mt guaranteed. And if your argument is realism well then I don't think it's too realistic to have 2 huge motors hanging off your axles and doing away with a center driveline completely either. :ack
