the slash is very likely the nost popular, as they were the 1st to release a SC truck mainstream., however, tower has the slash on for $199.99 rtr, and associated has the SC10 on for $224.99 for the Lucas body, $229.99 for the others. ( why is the lucas version cheaper btw?)
i used to have a rustler, and it was a good entry level truck, but now, i doubt i'd go the Traxxas route again, except maybe a revo or a E-Maxx
i dont know for sure, but im thinking for the extra $30, the SC-10 or the Blitz would be a better investment, again, im not bashin Traxxas here, just isnt my thing.
also, i noticed the Losi mounts thier motor ahead of the rear axle, and comes with a 2.4 ghz radio. 2 pluses in my p-brain, and although the body is terrible, there is a large aftermarket for SC bodies.

I would tell people to stay away from the losi, buy any of the others. Losi has built nothing but crap the last few years where everyone else has improved. Losi plastic is brittle, tranny's the gears strip. Support is lower than the others too.
If I had nothing, and was going to buy I'd have to choose between a SC10 or the Blitz. I'd say Blitz, but the esc and body are lame. HPI needs to offer it as a kit w/ clear body then I'd tell everyone BLITZ
SC10 I own, and really like it's handling, durability, but most of all the looks. Much more so than the Slash which I sold to buy the SC10 and don't regrett it at all.
If the Blitz had a replica paint body, or even just better paint the body would be ok. As is I don't like it's colors/scheme. Buy a Blitz and then a SC10 replica body, or clear and do your own.

the blitz body was designed so it doesnt catch air like other sc trucks.
It's not so much it's shape, but the paintjob that is the turnoff for me on the HPI body.
