which lipo batteries?!?

my lipos started to stop holding a charge, and some have started to puff badly, so i think it's time for some new ones...i even took some of the bad cells out from the pack and made new packs with the single cells (when doing this, i keep the mah and c ratings the same; or turn a 3s into a 2s, etc.)...majority of the ones i own now are turnigy, and they were ok...i think they were a pretty good value...but they all puffed, even the 40-50c ones and my 45-90c nano techs...kent was saying that the zippy ones are good, and i was leaning towards that...

but, with the possibility of me attending clodapalooza, i'd need to get some hardcase lipos...packs will primarily be for racing monster trucks, so i'd need at least 40c ratings (needed for dual brushless clod)...

anyone have any experience with other brands? i know there's blue lipo, and sky lipo, and gens ace lipos, but i havent really heard anything about any of them...so can any one recommend a brand/retailer to get new lipos from? i would love to just get them all from one retailer, so i'd need some 2s hardcase, 3s hard case, and possibly 4s and 6s soft cases...

any advice/comments greatly appreciated...

I was just going to say Gen Ace. I just picked up a 3s hardcase because Zippy doesn't have them in hardcase and the size is about the same as my older Turnigy 2s hardcase.

Gens Ace are great batteries but the problem is catching them in stock. If you see what you want in stock, buy it quick.

I was going to run Gens Ace for the last batch I bought but the kind I wanted were out of stock for a long time, so I went with Turnigy Nano Techs. Been running them for three months now and so far so good!

I bought a couple gen ace lipos on black Friday...
I just put the right plugs on em this week and still haven't driven them yet!
but I've heard good things about them.
:)

Previously my only lipos were zippy hard case and one puffed on me.
For a while I thought it was just random, but recently I heard salt water is bad,
and I was at the beach with it in NC when it happened! Oops!
I still have one that I like and I'd buy again.

im stuck on dynamite batteries so far. they arent the cheapest but they do the job and i put them through **** since i switched over from NIMH. i used them at least once a day and they get charged one every 2-3 days and no problems to report.

i have also heard good things about gens ace but have not tried them yet, will be on my next lipo shopping spree.
