Where's the old timers?

Seems that hobbies and interests revolve with time and family situations. I plan to always do RC and MTs especially along with anything else that piques my interest.

Yep. Definitely back to old times. Haven't even had the chance to run my stampede due to rain, and I just ordered a Wheely King. :partytime

Here I am!

Anyway, since then I bought a house, went to school, got a nursing degree (actually got my Ca RN liscense this week), met, fell in love with, and got married to a girl I met at work, had a baby, and got my dream job which I don't start until January.

For the last two years I've been going to school full-time and working full-time and had a pregnant wife and now a baby so I haven't had time for any hobbies. The money issue is another factor. Now that I'm done with school and have the time, I don't have the money! Hopefully that changes in January when I start working as a nurse. As for my dream job, I landed a spot in the OR at one of the local hospitals. It's a 465-bed multispeciaty hospital and designated trauma center. First I'm going to spend six months on the med-surg floor then I'll trasnfer to the OR and begin their nine month training program. It's typically difficult to get into a specialy area like OR or ER but I interviewed well and was a little lucky too I guess.

So that's my last three years in a nutshell. From rock bottom moving into my parents with nothing buy my clothes not even a car to drive, to having a great little family and a house and a new career. So to anyone going thru a tuff time, belive me it can get better. I wouldn't have thought so but you gotta keep your head up and keeping moving forward. I owe a lot to my family and friends.

Here is a picture of my baby taken last week. She is 6mo. Her name is Marion Eileen.

Speaking of Aggy, funny thing is I found him on another forum this week called Lay it Low that deals with lowrider cars. If you click his photo album those with a good memory will recogzine the house in the background.
