I see Will G, Dominick, Rapko, O.P., and Devastator. But what happened to Locoboy? Just don't seem right without him.

Loco has been off here for most of the last 2 years I think. He does pop in, but not often.
Digger is around but not as much as he was.
Phil G and his mutant Spot haven't been around much either for quite some time.

Seems with the economy being a downer, and many guys now have families needing attention the hobby time they once has is shot.

I think the economy is the biggest thing, once money gets tight our overpriced "toys" are the first to go.

Note:
If you have to sell your hobby items you can still stop in and chat, we don't shun the non-ownership guys. :wnk

Yeah, that stinks.
I miss Kenny's craziness, and I still see Spoon on other sites, but not here.

It is kind of funny. I joined the old board in 98. Same year I got married. Was pretty involved. Racked up over 2000 posts in 2 years. Got into old VWs and got rid of most of my RCs. Then bought more guns, more VWs, and then into 1/1 4x4s. Finally settled down a bit. My kids are 6 (girl) and 5 (boy). I still have one basket case VW, never enough guns, and I'm in the middle of a frame off resto/custom 86 Samurai.
Stopped at a new LHS in town, saw a RTR STampede, had some cash from a scrap metal haul, and I'm back in business. Now I just need the rain to stop long enough to run something.:bang

I finally came back after some years off due to family stuff, Will G is right on when everyone has a family it does take away from the toys and at the time i had a full time job that was 10-12hrs a night and up to 6days a week so my time was work sleep and family whished it would of been the other way around but i had to do what i had to support the family and now well things are way worse, But i am back i used to be ST316 and i was a posting freak then and i bought and sold so many RC rigs since i couldn't make up my mind lol and it doesnt seem that it has changed either other than being a slower economy and not many people buying.

Getting ready to go through a divorce so I guess ill have more time for r/c stuff soon... my daughter is 2 1/2 so itll be a bit before she gets into them. I now have 16 or 17 trucks, dont remember lol... Planning on an SCX, Mad Force Kruiser VE, Axial Wraith, and a couple custom builds in the next year or two. Problem is I have all these trucks and no where to run them lol. Got me a Stampede 4x4 off Will a month or so ago and havent even put a pack in it yet.

I came back recently. I got my RCs out to sell, sold a few, got my microRS4 running and got hooked again! Now I am thinking about getting a 1/16 E-Revo!

I forgot to mention MonsterBeetleGuy but I talk to him pretty regular through facebook.
And Gator809 lives about 2.5 miles from me and is hardcore into antique International tractors.

Sorry to hear it, OP. Good luck and I hope it goes as painless as possible.
