where to get m4 or 4mm male threaded rod in USA and also 1"+ 4m or 4mm barrel nuts?

local hobby store is about a 2hr drive so that's outta the question and looking for a site or perhaps a regular store like lowes tractor supply or something maybe.

I need to make custom lengh threaded rod's and also threaded sleeve's or a barrel nut and I cut the head/cap off and make a threaded sleeve out of it.

once I find them I can run dual wheel widener kit safely/tight to get the width to match my 17" WB so it's like a cat on all 4's

threaded rod (allthread) will not be as strong as a screw, you'd be much better off using a cut screw compared to the allthread.

For barrel nuts in 4mm threads you could try Junfaq as they have some at reasonable prices and shipping is usually within 10-14 days from korea.

thanks guy's I was able to pull it off.

I used the hot racing 15mm/25mm kit wk10w01 along with the clod esp wide ride kit.

I used the 15mm extension adapter from the HR kit and then took the longer barrel nuts that were supposed to be used for the 25mm adapter setup and cut them back and used them as the threaded sleeve wich stayed the correct diameter to be tight inside of the HR 15mm adapter.

I now have the same lengh thread as stock sticking out but instead of male thread it is now female thread in the same lengh.

I then did what will suggested and got X4 nice hardened stainless steel 4mm/30mm male threaded screw's and cut them off to lengh to not just screw into the female axle stub but also long enough to also fit the esp sleeve that is also a female sleeve but is has a larger diameter then the HR one and I did not want to tap either adapter so I threaded in the stainless steel cut screw and then slide over the esp sleeve of the ss thread and then slide the esp adapter over it's sleeve and now putting the wheel on I now have a male stainless steel theaded axle shaft about an 1/8" out of the wheel and throw the locknut/wheelnut on and it's good to go.

so in the end my axle's are now a tad over 3" wider then stock and there's nothing going to snap on there now.

I got the rc4wd steel gears and punisher shaft's so now the only treasure I seek for this truck is the rcp/mip cvd axle's.

I curently have the integy hd bevel's and shaft's and this is locked all around now with a 4600kv so sowmething's gotts give and am thinking it's going to be them but I almost got this all set and built solid throughout.

I know alot say the 4600kv is a bit much for the WK but I am hoping with all the extra weight and it being sretched so far that is fit's like a glove for it wont know till I let it go though.

I forgot to mention above wich to me was important but the esp wide ride come's with a 1/2" sleeve I had mine customed from them and had them make me 3/4" for the WK.

for clod's thre great but for the WK's I suggest if you plan on using the esp kit's ask them to make you 3/4" sleeve's in the end it wont have any play and you get another 1/4" of stainless threaded goodness in there.
