Wheely pounder

This is my budget version of the wheely pounder. Still have to decide on what shocks to run but it together without the use of any chassis mods or any different brackets just stock stuff. Ive drilled out the aluminum redcat driveshafts and still have to make a steering setup.

hint, put tube spacers where the lower shock is mounted and move the shock to the outside of the brackets :cool

couple things
HPI's shock doesn't stick
HPI has more spring choices
HPI parts are stocked in more hobby shops, so more easily available
HPI is easier to spell than redcat :)

I use HPI's shocks all the time, never have an issue with them

I usually run around 40wt oil in my HPI shocks on my pounders

I also like the smaller profile to provide clearance for the tire. I would also like for it to be a tad wider. Ive been experimenting with some wheels.
