I had plans for these on another truck, but didn't work out so what to do?
Hmm, my ripper7 wheely king with the rc4wd R2 trans gearing was easy to get to compensate for the 40 series mashers.

Before I opened the pic I thought "those are going to be WAY too big on a WK," but they actually look really good!

Do you run HD diffs?

no, but have a spare diff, and some other axle parts here.
So if it does bust tomorrow when I take it out I can repair it easy enough. I did notice driving it bouncing over couch cushions around indoors the stock rear steer lockout flexes so that'll need looking into soon.

I'll keep it for a while like this, but if it starts to prove to costly I'll hit it with the shrink ray. :willy

I'm having a blast, even if stuck indoors drinking beer, playing with R/C's and rewatching the Daytona 500. :rof
You say that like it's a BAD thing:tong. If the weather there is anything like here(-2 at 1PM!), it's waaaay too freakin' cold to play outside anyway! I'll check out that vid after work (dialup=painfully slow). Sweet truck and tire combo:tmb

Big heat wave today, 23 and snowing :rof
Guess I'll be sitting inside today too.

Will the adaptor still work with stock axles? I was thinking that a slightly extended stock wheelie king would look sweet with clod tires (or something else big like what you used) because of its stock chassis looking like a tube frame.

the mounting flange (hex socket) on the rims is deep inset so I needed the extra axle width. The extended STRC axles add about 1/2'' per side.
The integy 17mm adaptor adds another inch per side.
You'd have to measure and decide if, or what you need for the rim you choose.

Maxx style wheels mount very deep towards the face, and these 40's are the same. If the mounting point was at the back it would be an easy fix.
