Wheely king gear problem

Stripped one of my drive gears inside of tranny...replaced gear, put back together and truck goes great, but it has a clicking sound in reverse...any clue why? Forward no clicking noise

If you only did one gear more likely it is another.

best bet is just to the rc4wd steel gears and add a slipper and it is pretty much indestructable.

Make sure it's the tranny and not the rear axle. Those gears in the rear axle are soft and will start clicking if you run hard (they make hard gears you can get)

best way to fix it is
RC4WD trans gears and swap to axial axles

Seriously, parts support for the WK isn't what it used to be

Could u maybe provide a link for me since I'm looking to upgrade the tranny and the axles? I looked on rc4wd's sie but it says nothing about wheely king transmissions.
