Wheel adapters

I've heard that the Twin Force wheels came with adapters to mount them on Maxx sized hex's. If true, does anyone have any or know where I can get them??????

I think it's the other way around. The stock hex size for a twinforce is maxx sized. Then, to use the twinforce wheels, there is a plastic hex that fits over the aluminum one to make it (I think) 18mm. It also traps the crosspin in that locks the hex to the axle. Hmm...maybe this agrees with what you are saying. You want to run twinforce wheels on a maxx sized hex?

If so, this is what you need

The Twin Force wheels that I have are 19mm hex, and came with these aluminum adapters.

I bought these a while ago from another member, and finally decided to use them. The only problem is thet the hex's are stuck on the Clod hubs. Which isn't really a problem per say. However, if those adapters will fit onto a Maxx sized hex. They will allow me to put these wheels on any of my trucks. I already have Maxx to Clod adapters. So these would basically allow me to test fit which ever tire/wheel combination would work best on any of my trucks..

Thanks for the heads up :tmb . Figure these are not going to be too easy to get though being north of the boarder.:bang :bang :bang. Not too sure what Kyosho was thinking when they went out on there own......

I can measure the inside hex on my twinforce if you would like. I don't recall what size a maxx hex is off the top of my head. 16mm? I just ordered a big batch of stuff through the kyosho website and got the parts in a very timely manner. I don't know what their policy is for shipping to Canada. Years ago when I lived in Canada, Gooch's hobbies were authorized Kyosho distributors but that was a LONG LONG time ago...

that wheel looks good with the krock on it.

Good luck!
