I was sitting at my desk last night and I saw my old Losi Muggy covered in dust. So for fun I propped it up with some MF tires and a body. Now I have my next project truck that i cant wait to start on! Its just mean looking. No idea on drivetrain yet. Probably a shafty. I do want something I can beat the snot out of.

Machine Shop?

Well, Im not very happy with the shop making my parts. They ran one operation of one part so far. (Mad Force 4-link parts) That was a month ago. Theres only about a day and a half left for all the other parts. But I cant move on to the next parts untill those are all done. Does anyone know another machine shop that would do stuff like this? All the ones around me are big "contract" shops that dont do small runs. Please help!

Wisconsin Clubs?

Are there any clubs near central Wisconsin? If not, whats the closest? I thought of starting a group in my area but my wife made it loud and clear that I have too much going on as it is.:)

Gearbox Finalized!

Should be cutting prototypes this week.
Gearing is 9:1 with 16t pinion. Can go up or down from there.
Gears are 32p aluminum and brass. 1/4 wide.
Fits 1/10 or 1/8 scale motors. (drawn with 1/8)
6mm output shafts.

This one does not have any slipper. I'm gonna try it out and see how it works. I may need to add one. I do, in the future plan on making another one with an 1/8 scale center diff.

Prototype Fnished

Got the prototype finished last night. There's a handful of changes I gotta do.
Mainly so its easier to machine.
I think i'll bolt it in my Mad Force and run 4s through it. See how it holds up.
Ill run 1/8 scale motor. The little one is just for the picture.

Here's a little preview of what iv'e been up to. First print had a few issues. Haven't had a chance to do much with it yet. Let me know if there's anything you guys want to see printed.

Not sure how the PLA plastic will hold up yet. I'll get a set made up soon and do some bashing. They are made to fit GP guts and hubs.
