What run times are you getting?

Hey guys, I am starting to collect parts to build a CPE Carbon Terminator with Clod axles. Going to run a Novak Super Duty XR with two 12T Titan 550 motors. Going to be run with a single 3S 5000mah lipo battery.

Is anyone running a similar setup and if so, what runtimes are you getting?

Well-Known Member
You can't run the 12T titan in reverse on the Clod - it has timing. (I'm 99% sure about that)...

Huh, well - there's my 1%.

As an aside - the above thread speaks to the 550 motors becoming an issue with interfering with the control arms on the axles. Just something to consider as well.

on stock setups yes but on mine it clears with no issues

I've never ran my truck until the lipo (5400mah) is empty. Normaly I get bored or I break something or the wife tell me that my free time is over... after 30 minutes

Runtimes are gonna depend on whether your motors last more than 10 minutes. Those 12 turn titans arent going to be happy on 11.1 volts. They are not the same as the 21 turn titans you see in the E-Maxx and E-Revo that are in fact rated for 12 plus volts.

i run my 12t titans on 16.8 v 3000 nimh packs and i get 15 or so solid mins on them ...... now im not on full throttle the whole time so its more like 30 mins of bashing , as for not liking the high voltage i agree they get hot toward the end of the run but they are cheap to replace which is nice :tmb

So would the 21T Titans be a better choice?
