What is everybody running for ESCs?

I have an LRP F1 Pro reverse (no longer avail) in my Z4 with Saphires and another in my Dagger with stock motors, they have no motor limit with a single motor but I'm unsure what the dual limit is, and they dont heat up. Now I have an EVX for my Twin Force and a new LRP Bullet reverse for my TLT. I'm a bit confused with the Bullet as one source says "no motor limit" and another says that there is. Either way, its more than enough for what my TLT needs.

Tekin 610G w/Monster Mash motors which i believe to be 17t singles

Used to run LRP F1 they lasted a couple years burnt 2 out in one season.

I have to jump in here. I have 3 super chickens and I want to know what is the maxx motor and cell limit on them? I want to take one of my clodzilla 4's and make it more for speed. With out having to beef up the stock cases.. That is where Im at right now is looking for some motors for one and would like to go with some 4400 8 cells. Im sure I can get some feed back on this one. I also have a stock clod that I would like to get rid of the mechanical speed control and put in the 4 10 m5 I have. Is that possible without burning it up? What would the motor linit and cell on the m5 be.? It is only for a stock clod with silver cans.

Don't forget Tekin's R1Pro in brushed mode. I bet it's the toughest speedo out there for our trucks. But don't quote me on that since I have not had a chance to test it. I should be getting one soon though. And I will be testing the Tekin FX Pro in a clod as well, hopefully within the next month or so if I can get off my arse and pull my trucks out of the bag from Worlds! hahaha

Super roosters have held up well. Only lost one of them.... I landed a jump and dead....never worked again. But warranty covered it. I have one super duty which works great. I am looking at switching or trying the castle unit for my brushed trucks. I have four of the castles in my brushless clods. Thats a great unit...you can tune it on the pc too.

By the way Hi Ben. I take it you are coming to the spring nats. That would be great. Is the whole gang coming?

I kind of wish I hadn't sold my Super Rooster. :-( I plan on trying a Traxxas XL-10 in my newly acquired first Clod. I know I can't run anything lower than two 20 turn motors, but that should be enough. (for now:wnk)
I wonder if the BEC has enough power?..........

Another Super Rooster here. I was actually running a 410-M5 before I got the Super Rooster with no problems. There was no reverse, but still no problems.

I have the R-1 Pro, the first one burnt up before I could run the truck,
and the second works but doesn't seem to have as much brake, as my castle or my super duty.

My castle, and R-1 are set-up forward only.

Yea IMO the R1's look like they are too much $ for what you get. Dont get me wrong I've never run one and cant say how they perform but for a little more than half the price of an R1 you can get a mamba max which will handle anything and is fully customizable.

I have to reply to my previous post.
I got the hotwire link for the R1, this lets me computer program it like a castle.

Anyway, the brake strentgh was at default which was only 30 percent.(although by the instructions with the controller, I had it maxxed)

So that was my less brakes than the super duty remark.

I set it up to 100, and yes it as nice brakes now..:tmb

But I will say I like castles computer screen set-up better than the tekin hot wire.

I mainly run Super Roosters. I have about 14 of them or so and that's what I race with in most of my dual-motor trucks. They can handle dual servos without needing receiver pack:tmb

I have some LRP V6's and V7's which are excellent esc's and I have them in some of my race trucks as well. The GM-V12 is one that is older but still a goodie and I have some of them, one I still use in a truck for racing.

I recently started going BL (Mamba Max and Novak HV) to start testing those waters but only in my Twin Force trucks.
