As very few of you know I have been laid off for almost 7 months now. And while yes, I have been trying to find a job. I also have a lot of free time. One of the things I have been doing is routing drainage for my back yard and gutters far away from the house, and releveling and sloping the land so it drains where I need it to.
this means I had to remove all the grass, which makes it the perfect time to build...
A RC rock crawl area.
this is just the start, but the idea will be to have a waterfall leading to a stream with a bridge. you can choose your path based on the truck you have. one path will go over the mountain of rock and will have an easy direction and a hard direction. the path leading over the water will also have a hard and easy direction. I might also add a stream crossing and log climb.
the ditch you see going through the rock is the start of the water return. I'm going to have a utility pump at the rear pumping water up to the top of the fall and come down into the stream then return through black drain tile to the rear of the mountain.
as you can see I used my bruiser to gauge size, I might need to bring out my clod soon to verify for supers and my tlt to verify I dont make the easy climb too hard.
more to come
