It seems strange that it was only 17 months ago that I was posting and asking if I could charge a NIMH pack with the charger that came with my WK. (Thanks for for the advice) :tmb

Now today the 2nd "special issue" of RC Crawler showed up in our LHS and there's a full page article in there that's written by me.

Thanks for all the help and advice that you guys have given me!

I guess I'm hooked huh? LOL

Congrats on being published, I'll have to check it out. I know how thrilled I was when Will asked me to do a write-up for the board. It's always nice to get some recognition, especially when it involves a hobby you love. Great job, Jim :tmb

It's a review on the new Eritex Dig unit.

Yeah, it sure seems like it's been longer . . . .

Glad to have you here :tmb
Thanks for giving us a great place to hang out Bill !

In this time my WK has gone from this:

to this!

And my collection has grown substantially.

Now I have:

Tamiya M03-M Suzuki Swift
Tamiya CC-01 Jeep Liberty build
Tamiya Clodbuster
Traxxas Slash
Losi Mini Slider
Losi Mini Late Model
HPI Sprint 2 Cuda

There's also another scaler build in the works.

This hobby is very addictive!

Jim - That is awesome you got published - congrats! I'll definitely check it out.

I think the cool thing about this hobby is how many different directions you can go. Touring car, drifitng, monster trucks, buggies, CORR trucks, minis, micros, nitro, electric...the list is endless.

BTW - In the first WK picture, did you use a stretch kit or were the parts pieced together from different sources? Those links look like E-Maxx or Revo tie rods...looks good though!

Thanks a lot!

I used several different parts. Those were Traxxas links and yeah, they were e-maxx driveshafts.
