Site Related: We're upgrading!!!

Within the next week or so, the site will be taken off line for a major update. This update not only includes the site software but will also require server updates as well. So if you see the site down or it is unavailable this is why.

Same look/feel, just tons of bug fixes and performance improvements.

Over the past few years I've seen quite a few people have problems with registering for the site. I know somehow Tom and Bill would handle the ones that were brought to their attention but I wonder how many others just gave up. I don't know exactly what the problem is/was but if there's a way of addresses it with the upgrade, I think that would be a good thing.

I also have had to manually register probably a hundred people in the past year that have emailed or contacted me through the Facebook page. Wish we could get rid of the filter that bans everyone and get a different setup for that.

Yeah, I hate that banning thing too. I'm not affected by it here, but its affected me and others on monstermayhem as well. I never got a confirmation email and got immediately banned.
Hey Steven, is there anyway that monstermayhem can get a big update in the future like this where bugs and problems like this can be fixed?

All my sites are being upgraded in one giant push. 99% of the registration issue is I use my yahoo email. The majority of services now are requiring the domains to match from where the email is sent from. The auto banning issue is also going to be looked at once we get everything stabilized.

I am going to be looking for 2-3 individuals to assist in testing RCMT and MonsterMayhem (since they are very similar) Both sites are upgraded and siting on a development server. All we are doing is testing functionality. Let m know who is interested.
