I think it's really great that traxxas came out with those waterproof servos and I wanted a bunch for my boats, but they're $30 each. Not sure if thats possible, it might just be easier to waterproof the one(s) you have. Silicone the case seams and wire exit hole, O-ring and grease the output shaft. I've heard of people using Plasti-dip to coat the outside, never tried it though. Thats the stuff used on tool handles for better grip, kinda like liquid rubber. But you might already have thought of these ideas :tong

Unless the servos you have and the traxxas ones are based on the same servo then its unlikely the cases will interchange
example, Duratrax uses Futaba radio gear in their RTRs so the standard servos they use are actually based off the Futaba S3003. In that case the parts and case will interchange between the two. However if they aren't both based off the same servo parts usually won't interchange.
