Will, kind of a novice question...how does a straight axel like this benefit a Clod?

stronger, no slop and you don't need to worry about locking out rear steering. I had them in a couple old clods and never had any rear axle issues, ever. Even running 14 volts

Mine lasted for over 15 years...they only broke with dual 4600kv motors and 3s lipo...

For the money, i think the ttr straight axles are a bit better...the ends are more beefy...
