I hate usps now..I got a letter the other day from them saying that they lost or damaged my pakage that had a pretty nice charger I sold...I thought I trusted them but not anymore.

It sucks that it showed up like that! I can say that Insurance through USPS and UPS is a total joke, I have made one claim with each of them and neither one did anything except give me the run around, I don't have a fed ex near me so I can't comment on them but I wouldn't expect anything different.

I work in a very large warehouse that handles 1 million plus boxes per day I and can tell you that any place that handles a lot of freight will treat it poorly. If it doesn't say glass on it it will be thrown, stepped on, have many other boxes stacked on top of it and so on, sometime even if it is glass that happens to it. With places like USPS, UPS, or Fed ex they handles so much freight that if they damage 10% (random number) of it they feel thats an acceptable percentage as long as they rest gets though ok.....Sad but true!

I sent to be bored a cylinder head through UPS a few months ago and they cracked and and broke all but three sensors off of it. I got the value of the head plus the cost of custom work covered thank god

Holy crap what did they do drive over it with there turd colored truck. I used to use them but never again. Go Fed Ex for oversea orders and USPS for 48 state stuff. What a joke. At least they only chunked the radio. If need be I got an Axial RTR radio/recv./crystals I would donate to the cause. It is just sitting in a box waisting away.

looks like next time something gets sent we need to have signature confirmation so if it's mashed up like that they can refuse to sign for it.
Just out of curiousity, what good would that do? Wouldn't that just get the package returned to the sender?

yeah, that makes no sense. And it was sent delivery confirmation via USPS. The insurance is a joke from both USPS, and UPS. I have had very good luck with USPS in all my years of BST R/C items. I'll still use them, I think this was (hope) a one time thing.
