Update on my USA-1

Well been working on all 3 of my Kyosho trucks the last few weeks . this is as far as i've gotten on the usa-1. i had to install a new idle gear in front gearbox so was the perfect time to re-do the chassy and shock plate mods i wanted to do for awhile.i did a carbon fiber overlay over both chassy pieces and shock towers . also went back to diamond plate gearbox protectors from way back trimmed them to fit and show off more of carbon fiber chassy. I got a set of imex diamond wheels painted them stain black and accented with silver paint marker i had and put my monster pirate tires on it . I ran truck today for frist time on 3s li-poly power and holy s$%@ it was truly amazing to me !! my usa-1 wheelied like it had brushless motors in it ! was so fast almost equal to my dmt ve on 3s. glad to took pic's before running it because i accidentally did a back-flip and scratched sidewalls to rims . it was like a weed-wacker going through my lawn so much fun will have to redo a few things to deal with new found power ! after yesterdays runs on my trucks this is the only one that still runs ! lol !

Looks great :tmb The black rims and carbon overlay on the chassis go really well with the body. It gives the truck a mean stance.

p.s. as you see stll using the servo mount you made for me ...

yep run all stock gears although i wish my steel idle gears would work with my stock gears..... with current motors on 3s power they will not last long

hi i need to know where u can get the axles u have

Hi ive been tryin to fin d the axles that u are runnin on ur usa 1, all ive fund out is that u use stampede aqxles b ut what about the outer pieces, id really appreciate it if u could give me some direction, thanks

answered you question in your post mine were some of the rarer 6mm sliders as they were called because some people with 4 and 5 mm version bent them hell i've slightly bend mine from doing dumb stuff on occasion ..... now looking for ways to mod mine to use the steel gears i have
