TXT-1 Chassis Paint Question

Hello all!
I'm new here and to RC in general, so I'll apologize for my ignorance up front. I purchased a TXT-1, looking to turn it into Grave Digger. What type of paint should I use on the chassis to turn it Grave Digger Green?

scuff it good, prime then kryon in thin coats

Better yet spend some extra and have it powder coated (Fatboy does it)

Also, if you can find yourself some zinc chromate primer, the paint will stick much better to the aluminum. Zinc chromate primer can be found in marine stores, it is used to prime the aluminum outdrives and lower units before painting. It is specifically made for aluminum and it works quite well.

Powdercoating is more expensive but last along time. Pretty durable. If not scuff it with Scotchbrite and lay down a good primer. Hope this helps, good luck

I use Krylon Engine Paint, but I prefer anodizing or powder-coating.

You can get a few colors in Appliance Epoxy Paints in spray cans.
Takes a little to dry than regular spray, but is also tougher.
