I just got off the phone with Darren at TTR and and had a pretty indepth conversation on whats going on over there at TTR...They are working OT to get this thing done...They are making every effort to get this truck up and running and make it the best it can be..This is there first Complete Prototype chassis that they have ever done so they are making sure it covers all the needs of the consumer..This is there largest project that they have invested in since they first started,almost$150,000.00...:shock:..They are hoping to have the Racer ready by October so it can be introduced at the RC expo in Chicago then..I'm thinking its gonna be an early christmas present for me :wink:
He's also meeting up with Parma this week to discuss the body mold for the racer..They have plans on adding different decals to the body so people can customize it as they like. Such as grills headlights, etc..They are also working on an electronics box for it as well 8)
Although they have lots backorders till its completion, They still would like looking to get more preorders in before then
They are offering special discounts for people that place preorders such as discounts for some future upgrades that they will be unveiling...Beadlock wheels, Diff lockers and MIP Ball Diffs
They haven't had anytime to update there website, but Darren says he hopes to have new pics up in the next couple of weeks
