Traxxas reciver

Hello everyone new here to rcmt and i need help i got a tq3 from ebay and the reicever i recived with it acts weird when i have a hitec servo connected but not with a traxxas 2650 ,does traxxas servos only work with traxxas recivers please help need to finish my wheely king

How does it act weird? Does it do it with all hi tec servos, or just one? Sounds like a bad servo to me...

No i try to use my third channel to and it will just go one way when i flip the switch nothing also i finally got it to work just bought a new receiver
