Traxxas Monster Jam Trucks

With the release of the 4 trucks now...just curious. What other Monster Jam trucks would you all like to see Traxxas come out with?

Ones I would like to see are:

Predator
Prowler
Pouncer
El Toro Loco
Bulldozer
Taz
Brutus

I tend to gravitate towards a more traditional pickup truck body rather than SUV or fantasy type bodies.

I'm not so sure we'll see more this year, maybe this was somewhat ofa feeler run then next year or the holidays we might see some others if Traxxas secures licences.

I just hope they can get a license from Ford, and put an F150 body on the Grinder, and have it be the right size. I'm sorry, but the body they are using now, looks ridiculous.

Why would Traxxas want to do that when they could just use the existing Stampede body and make more profit per vehicle? They've already proven that by already stripping the truck of foam inserts "because they found they don't need them."

That's a good question.
However, if you look at the bodies on all the other MJ trucks that they have out, you see that they look pretty much exactly like the real ones.
The stampede body doesn't look Anything like the fullscale Grinder truck at all. I just think that realism sells; and I would be willing to bet that of all the MJ trucks that Traxxas does, that Grinder will not sell as well as the rest of them because of that.

I would be willing to be it doesnt sell as well because its the least recognizable of all 4. Not because of the shortcomings of the bodies.

So far at my shop I have sold a ton of the Diggers and Grinders and soon to be Max D's and pretty much every one of them has been to people buying them for kids. Kids who have no idea that the body isnt technically correct and are super excited about having their own MT to bash with.

I've only seen a few of these but aren't the chassis all the same except for colors? if they are, then maybe the more economical way to do it would be to offer one chassis in a kit, and you could buy whatever body you wanted seperately that fit them. it would be cool for them to offer retro bodies that fit them as well.

I don't think we will ever see "realism" with these trucks. Mo hit it on the spot and these were marketed for kids to get into RC. A ton of people attend Monster Jam events and half of them are kids, when these are cheap and look sweet right out of the box they are going to sell a ton of them.

I don't care if they ever change them, hopefully license a few more yes. I just think it is cool because people will step up to Hobby Grade RC's from these and will grow into bigger and better RC's by owning one. Hopefully dad will see how much fun junior is having and buy himself one too. Keeps all of us gaining new members of the RC community and keeps Mo with a job! Hobby Shops are a dying breed around here.

^^ That is something I hope they add as a option for these trucks is the 4X4 version. ^^
Joe so far the only one to fit is Grinder, Digger and MaxD use narrow body post mounts. So they'd have to make special mounts for each body because so far no 2 are the same :bang
