Yes they need more power and with all that power comes the issue of twisting thing in two lol like drive shafts ,axles ,diffs and wheel hub stub shafts.
but so worth it !!!!!!!
Not really. Depending on the motor KV and can size as well as figuring in pinion tooth count you may still only run 2s or 7 volts. Or a 3s lipo. Not always 2 batts for 14 volts. I run only 1 7.4V battery in my thunderkings with 1/8th setups.and will typically require more power, too.
:wnk
EZRun systems are nice, great for the price and so far have proved durable for me.I will check into the EZRUN system. New to brushless, but it seems to be the way to go! This TXT is just my backyard basher, but like to have some speed.
thanks guys

A huge 2wd beast of monster some say is a giant stadium truck. Tires are same height as a T-maxxWhats a thunderking?
what's the minimum voltage on that? Is it a 3s minumum or can it run even lower on 2s?Well I put my order in today for a 1700 series motor from castle can't wait the torque will be insane its a 1600kv motor and a full inch longer than my current motor![]()
put a lipo in there (with some good connectors if you don't already have them) and watch the truck wake up even more. :wnkwell just put on a diff. set of tires and used my traxxas 6 cell pack. Once again the truck ran great. Not quite as powerful as it was with the 7 cell pack but the torque was still great and the top speed didnt drop to much. I think il just leave it this way casue Im pretty happy with its performance and its lighter to with the 6 cell vs the 7 cell.
i did, and it worked pretty well. ill try to get vids up tonite after work....Joe - did you get any test runs in this weekend w/ your 3600?
where did you find that? i havent had any luck finding a hardcase 3s.... I run a 3S LiPo (30C)
... HPI 3S LiPo in a hardcase.
