trany help on rusty

ok i was a smart butt, and put a double 15t on an 7cell 5000mah. was ok for a bit with stock tires on semi hard clay......

then went wild threw on some paddle tires and hit the soft beach type sand.....second hole shot, parts came apart. pulled tranny down and found one idler gear was toothless like an old man(lol)
question is what manufactor do you guys use to upgrade the tranny on these?

change all your gears, if 1 is junk the others have excess wear too

I like the new VXL gears. They hold up very well and are priced ok too.

Plus for 40 bucks on average you get a new case, a new better slipper and the VXL gears

traxxas replacement would be my choice as well.

get the VXl tranny, that has all metal gears. ebay or that traxxas site
