Anyone have a good t-maxx 2.5 tranny 2 speed, forward and reverse they don't need or a good place to buy a new one?...... bought a used t-maxx from a guy on a different board awhile back and finally got around to looking at it and the tranny doesn't work ... really got the raw end of the deal paid 250.00 for it and it doesn't work oh well at least it came with lots of other replacement parts and the engine does turn over so hopefully its ok it came with about 100.00 in new parts so maybe 250.00 wasn't too bad... any help would be great! would like to get it running so I can bash it and hopefully enjoy it some....

been a while since i had a tmaxx tranny apart, but sounds right...from what i remember, there's clutches in the trans that engage gears (at least it was in the one which had selectable fwd/rev) when rpms are high enough, which lets the spur spin without actually engaging the output yokes...
