Trail Driving with the AX10

I swapped out the plastic linkage for the aluminum HPI linkage that came with the Grave Digger WK(it's temporary WillG! ;) ) for the time being and headed out to the woods for some trail time.

I thought about crossing this little stream but the mud looked deep and I have yet to waterproof anything.

A screw came loose and I lost a link but kept driving anyways. The AX10 is a pretty tough truck!!

I had a blast driving it and I can't wait to really get this build rolling. It will be nice to lose that green lid and get something more scale!

That will make a great trail truck. I have an Axial-based and WK-based trail runner, and they're both a ton of fun. Crawling, climbing, bashing and blasting down trails all in one. If you get an aftermarket chassis like an X-Trail or similar setup, shorter shocks and a nice lid, you're on your way. Have fun!

Yep I plan on getting an X-Trail. I also think I'll be making the WK a trail truck...but that comes later.
