somethings are odd about that...

body is scorched yet tires should have melted and or burned
Rims look like they're in great shape, yet the rest is trashed
If it was torched there should be more debris under it, plus look at that curb it's cherry condition cement.
If it wasn't torched there how did it get there, certainly wasn't driven and tires would prevent a push or even many wreckers from towing it.

i think its a rusted body. according to the caption and mini article that went with it. in Russia when someone doesn't need or want their car they can leave it buy the side of the road. dont know for sure, thats just what i read.
still a dead monster (mini) truck is always sad.

i would say it is rust , if it was burned there would be more black and gray not worn paint and rust on the body

keep hearing this ringing in my ears

Sounds like "staged - staged - photo op staged" or something very similar to that. Can't be sure, just a irritating noise.

Over in some of what the former USSR was I have a buddy whose wife is from there, he told be about how when a car dies people just get out and walk away leaving it wherever. Also about how most are real junks, and it's not uncommon to see one profusely smoking like in a cartoon or comedy as it drives down the road.

if that is someone's real car, how does it turn? those tires are right next to the chassis???

hmm somebody put way too much time into staging that photo

i saw some really crazy russian choppers on chopper underground a few years ago. those dudes build some really weird machines. those dudes build choppers like we used to have to build clods. from scratch.
