TMAXX rims on Clod?

hey guys lookin to change up the clod a little.decided to go with a proline body and some maxx rims with imex tires.just ordered some hpi revolver wheels and realized too late there is no way to mount a hex on the clod axle.is there any way to mount these?

You will need a set of 12mm to 14mm adapter/wideners such as the Thunder Tech racing DEL-CB03.

The thundertech adapters are nice. You may need the width they add, depending on the maxx wheels you get. Stable maxx and wheels (with large offset may look too wide with the thundertech adapters, but regular maxx wheels will need the extra width for steering clearance.

i bought 14mm hexes from rc4wd never stripped them yet but i did the semi metal gears ....doh last time i let jr. drive mine . and i got the 3/4 offset on mine no rubbing at all .

I talked to someone from Tamiyaclub and they said the thundertech dont have any offset.

The TTR adapters add 3/4" per side to the Maxx wheels

I have run the same ttr wideners that Thundervp posted for years on my kong clod and they have held up well.
