ive got some practically new masher 2ks i wanna move from rims theyre glued to onto my new beadlocks.
ive found a way to remove them from the original rims,
now i wanna put em on my beadlocks, but they dont seem to hold!
:bang
the bead looks to be in tact, but wont stay in the beadlock channel.
the tires were originally glued heavy on the inside and very lightly on the outside;
the outside grabs fine, the inside doesnt.
what do you recomend?

Hmmm...maybe wipe the bead with a solvent to soften and remove the old glue? Something like acetone or a type of paint thinner? How 'bout sandpaper or steel wool to rough up the bead for better grip? Or both ideas together? Yeah, I'm really just guessing...but in an honest attempt to be helpful! :)

they make a super glue remover. I found sticking the rim and tire in the oven for a couple mins works best to remove tires.

Joe,
Sounds like maybe you lost some ''meat'' on the bead areas? If that's the case you'd have to either A; get new tires or B; shave the rim or C; get some sort of spacer to help squeeze the bead better, possibly a 2'' or 2,2'' 0-ring

proline tires tend to be thinner in the bead area then, well say Imex. Imex are thick there, some rims to thick. I think maybenyou just got items that are from opposite extremes. Rims with a wide bead, tires that are thin.

Get some 2.0 or 2.2 diam 1/8th if you think large, 1/16th if think you don't need as much O-rings and see if maybe they can help snug up your gap.
