i posted this in another thread and after i did i thought maybe it would be a good idea to just start a ne thread and get more input back and Pos or neg.
Anyway my local shop is getting into pulling on dirt(clay) and i use to pull a long time ago on carpet and i have always like it but it dried up and i gave up. but now with them starting this it has started the fire again. so i have been doing alot of rady and looking at all the types of pullers and the mod 4wd and the shaftys and caught my eye and cant forget the CLOD class but anyway as i have been looking around and trying to fig what direction iwant to go with this i have noticed that you can not just go buy a pulling KIT or RTR and infact i think it is fairly hard to even locate a place to buy the parts to build a pulling truck unless you put in the time on the net.So this got me thinking. SHAFTY what a class, they are scale to what a real pulling would look like witch to me these days is the more scale the better. And there is a companies out there that build some sweet shafty trucks and would make a great starting point to get into RC pulling. So i starting looking and thinking what it would take to find or build a nice shafty wih out breaking the bank, and i have found two trucks that i think would fit the bill, for a starter class or a spec class and then as they grow could turn into a sweet mod shaft. So bleow are two links of the the trucks i thought would work from RC4wd.
Now iam not sure if any one of these trucks would fit in any or the NRCTPA, Witch is ok if they do or dont iam just looking for a truck that can bring people in. So take a look and give me some feed back pros and cons Thanks chad
