I just have to say that the E-revo is an incredible truck! RCMJ9 was the very first competition for my new truck and the competition was strong, but the E-Revo was stronger! No one had the "home track advantage" as I built an entirely new road course layout just the night before the jam and I ran only 5 laps on it prior to having to race on it. Not only did I manage to win the class, but I managed the fastest "Best Lap" and the fastest "Average Lap" times out of every other truck in every other class! I owe a lot of that to the truck itself as this thing is so adjustable, you can dial it to EXACTLY what you want without having to make compromises. Traxxas really hit a home run with this one! I LOVE THIS TRUCK!!! LOL!

That's good to hear. I've been considering getting one myself, and hearing stuff like this makes me that much more likely to do it.:tmb

I realize that different people use their trucks differently, but if anyone is considering something for racing, I strongly recomend this truck. Especially if you are on the fence between the E-Revo or an Emaxx. For racing, the E-Revo is well worth it! For bashing, I think I might still recomend the Emaxx over the Revo as it's a little more bash-able, and the revo seems to like smoother, go-fast conditions more than general bashing.

Case in point; I tried running the E-Revo in the 4wd Trials yesterday and it didn't do nearly as well as my Emaxx has in past events. I also tried running it in the long jump comp and the suspension tried to absorb the take-off ramp, which made it not fly as far as I thought it should have. It landed beautifully, just didn't fly very far.

Even with these results, I still love this truck. I will probably be keeping my maxx or maybe get the newer version for general bashing, but my maxx can't hold a candle to the E-Revo for racing!:tmb

I just took mine out yesterday for it's official run with the NEU motor and the MMM V3 with some SPC Lipo's..

One thing..

Hella fast man. It was fun to bash this bad boy all over the baseball field. It is way faster than the EREVO with the Novak 6.5 in her. And I thermo'ed several times with the Novak..
