finally! its ready to show to the world.

here is my take on the Axial AX10 Scorpion. a working mini zamboni. i built this bad for for work since our store sponsors the Pittsburgh Penguins post game show with FSN and they were looking for something new to play with. so i took it upon myself to make this little bad boy.

its setup so that it does partially work for cleaning the ice. it doesnt shave it our collect shavings but it does spray water and smooth it out. not that im sure it will ever be on the ice but i wanted to make sure if it ever was it would look like it was working.

enough talk, here are some pics.

heres some of the guts.

Thats some awesome design work there. Crazy that you were able to make it actually perform and actual "scale" function, awesome man.

roog, zamboni's are machines used to resurface ice rinks.

they use a blade to shave the top layer of the ice smooth then use a drip of war water off the back to smooth the surface out to a glossy shine.

my model doesnt have the blade or snow collection system but it does apply water down on the ice surface.
