Started on the body last night....It didnt come out like I wanted it to. I was trying to mix the silver and blue together but between my poor painting skills and the wind it messed up kinda bad lol..No Biggie tho, Im gonna order another body and have a friend paint it for me. But here is what I got so far...Ill take a pic of the finished body when I get home...Also I think Im gonna paint the wheels blue or silver, the bright yellow throws it off lol...

ummm
hate to tell you but that is the wrong type paint, it'll just crack and flake off in a crash

Yea I know I backed it with the Krylon blue, Ive used that before and it held up fine, but the black and silver did crack before on another body. I didnt used the black at all, and I dont really care what happens to this body, the new one will be done right

Servo came in yesterday! Brand new in package from my good friend Dave (Double D) Lipsey....thanks a lot! True life saver..looks like a beast of a servo!

I was gonna wait til after christmas to finish putting it together so I didnt have to go back and install the ESC and motor, but now that I have the servo I think im going to finish it. Adding the motor later is no problem, I will just have to take the ESC tray out. Also gonna paint the wheels to make the color scheme flow better..more pics later tonight

Alright moving on to the last few steps...Still wont install the motor or ESC until after Christmas but they can pop right in with no problem...Also will have to do the Diff breakin process when those items come in...

Bag "O" and "P"..... Final Chassis Assembly..

Did both of these steps together...Started with the Servo/ESC/Motor side..Intalled the servo mount onto the servo and then into postion on the chassis..I attached the ESC mounting tray so I wouldnt have to do it later, the ESC will go in perfectly when I receive it...Then I installed the Futaba receiver and closed everything up...Installed the Battery straps on the other side and I was done.

After that I attached both sides to the chassis and finished the steering linkage setup to the servo...

Last step....Bag "Q"...Wing/Wheels/Body

The wing went on very easy with no problems at all...

After that I drilled holes in the body and mounted it to the chassis...Like I stated before I messed up on the body but after a few mods and decals I think it turned out ok...

Final Build pics....(sorta)

Painted the wheels silver with a hint of that Steel Blue I used on the body...The Bright yellow didnt match up as well lol...Not the best, but it will do until the custom painted body is done. I really like how it all came together, Easy to follow directions, No missing parts, High quality parts = BAD A** BUGGY!

Once I get the Motor and ESC I will make a few vids for you guys...Thanks Tekno and RC Car Action for giving me the opportunity to win this great prize.

Your Buggy build has turned out awsome. My fellow racers who owns one are very happy with it. I like how narrow the chassis/body and hardware layout. Been tempted to get a new ride for 2013 but very low on funds dut to the hollyday.

Now its time to have some fun and get dirty.

Aloha
