just a fake battle or do they actually use something along the lines of laser tag to shoot and register hits?

Tamiya has an option add on battle kit. It uses infra-red.

You can see in the first picture, there are those black circle things on top of the tanks. Those are the receivers and at the end of the cannon is the transmitters. You get hit and your tank shuts down for a few seconds. You get hit three times (I think) and you done.

Cool.Does any one have a M1A1 or M1A2 since its the best tank ever design.
