I just noticed,
My slash shocks don't have the rubber "nascar bump stops" but my parts truck I bought to part out has them in the rear.

Is this like the decals, some have, some don't?

See them in this pic of the shocks I'mm selling

Will: My rear Slash shocks have the bumpstops... and my new bigbores have an extra blue o-ring at the bottom.

I'm tempted to take the "O" rings off and replace them with the larger bumpstops from the factory shocks...

What all are you selling off your parts truck? Still have the body?

Ok, that's enough. I wanted the body, mine is getting beat up. No rips yet, but scraped up good. :wnk

Still have the shocks, chassis and front susp, tires/wheels and a tq radio w/ 3ch reciever

I see no blue thingies :-(

Kinda disappointing reading how everyone's truck is perfect and mine has (minor) issues.

No bump stops, front right tire rubs, left rear tire glued a little crooked.

Well, my left rear tire is exploded, so your still in good shape.:ack

Oh, and tire rub, just get the dremel out.............
Thats what I did to mine,
don't expect it to be perfect out the box.

Also if it does not have ample camber, it can rub.

Thats the fun part ,,, tweaking things into what you want, and know is right.

mine out of the box the tires were leaned pretty far in at the Top, I adjusted to straighten them some. My tires spin pretty true.

I just thought it was weird, one was decaled and has bump stops, the other had no decals applied, and no bump stops.

It's mass production, I know it won't be perfect. It's just cosmetic stuff anyway.

A friend borrowed my dremel the other day to polish his gun(s), I should have it back this weekend.
The rubbing really only happens when I turn while the truck is moving, and not every time. It could be the camber, tho I haven't really looked at it too hard.

I put a spare set of tires on backorder, I would have bought Will's but I have no way to get payment to him as of right now.
It doesn't seem to have any affect on how the truck drives, I can wait.

I don't think the lack of bump stops is gonna be an issue. I'm sure they help, but not necessary.

Looking at the exploded view in the manual, it seems the rear is meant to have them, but the front is not.

Not even Traxxas can answer that one :rof

They give the pn for the rebuild kit against them, so that would be the only way to get them.

Mine was decalled and had the bump stops as well.....seems weird the decalled trucks got them. thought they all would and that some of the first production run might have had the "TRAXXAS" decal applied to the sides.......

Mine has the Decals and front stops too.

Since the exploded says they are only supposed to be on the rear, I'd say it was margarita day every day at the factory!.

Mine has the blue bump stops......my slash is the first releases maybe the later models don't have the bump stops...maybe they found they work better without them?
Sometimes companies do things like this?

I don't know how decal-ed everyone's truck is/was/wasn't, this is how mine came...

Hood, sides, above rear fenders and above the windshield.
There's the windows, headlights and the stuff on the back, too. But I'm sure everyone got those.

I assume this is how the decals came for those whose trucks came with them.
Just felt like clearing things up.
