sway bar location and mounting?

got a question on the sway bay location.

while watching monster jam i noticed all the sway bars are mounted directly over the axle with the links pretty much vertical./
is this the best place to mount?

check out my mounting location, will the location have any adverse affects on the effectiveness?

the more you lean the weaker the sway-antiroll has an effect. Same as shocks, stiffer when straight.
I would lengthen the link though, you look a bit short.

yeah, i know it should be longer, its not leaning too much, maybe a 1/4" different at the top
