Another from what i have left.Combination Clodbuster and Bullhead parts along with some ESP goodies.Stock MSC and 540 motors. This one was filthy...covered in dust and very yellowed body.I sprayed the body with Invisible Glass and it peeled the yellowing right off for the most part. The dust had been on it so long it wouldn't just wipe off.It had to be disassembled completely and washed with soap and water.

if you are going to run it with the stock suspension arms there is a guy on e-bay that has aluminum anti-rotation brackets. You'll want them as that is one part that always breaks.

...and yes,it's gonna get painted soon.I was thinking about Hugger Orange.Back when i built it i was afraid of screwing up the body.I have since been building 1:24 scale plastic models a lot and think i can safely pull it off now. lol

Sounds like a winning idea...thanks!I have never run a stock Clod hard...just used this one in the house to chase the cat. It's gonna get some use now however!Seems i would just buy the kits, build the axles and shove the rest under my bench. At least that's how i used to do it.This is the only one i ever built basically stock.Sad i know...:(

Looks like it cleaned up very well! The bodies still looks great even without paint .
I like the body in white.I may go ahead and paint it white and then just detail all the trim...not sure yet.I'm surprised the yellowing came off,it did clean up well though, thank you.

Good looking survivor you got there!

Is that the era of the Clodbuster they pulled the Chevy bow-tie and name off the tail gate? Tell you the truth they should have stayed with that grille instead of making the one with 4X4X4 on it.

Lookin real NICE. I like the chrome ladder bars and Chevy grill. Orange would be a good look for it too!

Thanks!I know i'll end up putting some oil filled shocks on it.I have a set of Associated shocks that are anodized blue.Don't think they will look good with the orange though.Maybe i'll just strip the anodizing and polish them.
