Hey guys I noticed I haven't started a build thread on my latest build. Picked this truck up for very reasonable price considering what it is. Hoping to get this done so I can race this winter in Michigan with Mike and Chad.

Chad is doing the powder coating for me which I should have back this weekend :)

Those CPE planetary hubs look great detailed like that. Nice looking truck, even with the "basher body". I'd put some color behind the clear though.

Thanks for the compliment! I like the clear of body. Its a basher so I didn't want to put a bunch of time and effort into it. ;)

Thanks Jon.. Yeah its the 1/8 body.. Terry had this in his own private collection, I traded my Z2 for it..

Looks like you have barrel nuts on but then you have the CPE planataries ...but those can't use wideners ...
Looks great love the theme

Thank you. Yeah I have barrel nuts cause of the wideners. I had to melt the plastic around the nut on the planetary covers. Then heated the barrel nut up and stuck the planetary cover on them to form to the barrel nut. They hold just fine.

So I just realized I haven't updated this in 2 years lol. So I sold the truck shortly after building it as usual. Bought it back about 3 months ago. Have really changed this rig around. Always wanted to put cantilevers on a clod besides a clodzilla. Here's where we stand nowadays

Got this pig finally finished! Improved the the cantilever setup a little more. Changed over to vertical servo mount ( front right push rod wouldn't work with bta) changed out the springs for more rebound, added a few delrin cross braces. Added 3 zrp esc plates and did away with the big bulky center plate. All in all I'm more than happy with the outcome of what I was trying to accomplish.

Thanks you! Still have a long way to go before it's completely finished. But it's getting there

I added a few more bits today. Went to the hobby shop today and got some M6 nuts for the revo rocker posts I used for the canti's. Made some new upper links also. Think I'm going a bit in left field with my colors, I can't lie. I like pink hahaha!
