Never go with them Tower specs on alot of things cause in their Speed Mart magazines they got a Abrams tank description with a King Tiger tank which is retarded. They also got the AX10 Scorpion with a different picture. It looks like a Savage with a body that looks similair to the AX10. Anywho yeah the unpainted bod is also .060 as I got their Parma 97 Bigfoot bods which are in .040 and you can surely notice the difference by it's weight and feel of each of the bodies.

Theres some 8th scale Parma bods that look very much like they could be painted up in a few Monster Jam truck paint schemes. From the links you posted the Losi Baja looks quite nice.

Hmm you sure? Thought it was kinda short, I mean the f650 is 21" and just barely fits and the robber is shorter. My lousy LHS doesnt carry one of these bodies so I cant go check them out on the truck before I order anything so why im debating it so much, not like these things are cheap. I can get 2 bodies to which I might do cause they sure dont last long :ack

Mmmm like this tho lol

I've seen a ton of them on stock e savages with a 11 inch wheelbase,

Not sure it will look even close to right on a kong truck.

Well the downside to shopping online I can only go by measurements. THe first body I posted was prolines blazer which is 18" the robber is 20" so theres 2", the digger body is 20 1/4" thats not alot of difference so we will see, I should have it really quick since its coming out of Reno and im in CA, I usually get my stuff in 2 days :tmb

Digger fans will be happy cause I will get one of those just ran out of $$ on this order or I would have got both :reye

While im waiting for parts I got some weights. THe whole truck without 2 lipos comes in at 13lbs, the tire/wheel combo (1) is 1lb 11oz so around 5lbs for the set. Rest is in the gearcases and metal gears since the frame dont weigh nothing really. Hefty beast :willy

The mounts are very nice, good work from Devastator.

Got a bit of a issue on the upper shock mounts, the angle isnt right and obviously I cant move them outwards more, so still trying to figure what to do here. Need some input from Eric :wnk

Nice body but id have it destroyed on the first run lol, plus its huge almost 30" long. He says it would be good on a 6x6x6 so thats pretty long.
I found out yesterday that the Losi mega baja is 20 1/4" long, same as the digger body so I just might give that a go :tmb

Just do away with that "L" bracket shock mount at the top.
Turn the shock 180 degrees of what it is, and just use a stud through the side of the chassis to hold the shock with a nut on it to remove it.

Just like you have on the bottom mount.

Then it will follow any angle you give it towards the axles or four links.

Well darn that was simple enough! After I spent the morning redrilling some holes :bang
Thanks for that idea tho I still just try it. :tmb

Here it is with shocks all mounted, pretty much done now. Just waiting on a body and a few little things I gotta finish up. After I got the shocks mounted up and tires back on I tried the shocks out and wow their super stiff way to thick of oil in them and I dont believe theirs other springs for these that I know of? So I dont know 40w?

Here is how I fixed the angle issue on the mounts.

Just went out real quick in the yard cause we got storm clouds rolling in rather fast

All I can say is WOW what a beast and fun to drive! The shocks dont even move tho since their so stiff so I gotta fix that cause it just bounces like a ball even going over flat ground lol, plus one of my rear tires is really out of shape almost think it might be a bad mold cause ive tried to tweak it but cant get that lump to go away. Trying to get ahold of the tire expert at imex but hes not easy to catch im finding :spaz
Wheelies are alot less to so that good, least for me but with 13t pinions it will spin the tires nicely in the loose stuff with ease so I dont think lower pinions will be needed and neither will rear steer it does just as good as it did with Losi meats, doesnt turn a tight donut or anything but what do you expect? :tong
Good times! :tmb

Should have the lid tomorrow tho.

Well found out why the shock action was so stiff, things are flippin bone dry! Good job integy:reye
For those that have messed with piggybacks whats the best way to fill them? I got oil all over the place trying to get them on before they spill out the hole in teh cap :willy
