it sounds silly almost, but can my Super Duity XR handle dual silvercans? That is all I can find right now that fits in my clod. and my oldest super rooster is finnaly biting the dust. (course it doesnt help that *someone* did a little jury-riging to the internals in order to get it functioning a while back....) :rof

The Super Duty XR is supposed to be more powerful than the Super Rooster AFAIK...

should do fine unless you intend running it off 16 cells or something...

but yeah on 6-10 cells it should run fine, like Kenny says it supposed to have more power than the old SR so its good for titans on up to 14 cells and I think it'll handle something daft like duall 11t's on 6 cells...

When I had a SD I contacted Novak and asked them this. I got a resounding NO from tech, and if you look in the literature from Novak it doesn't even mention 540's. My memory is a bit foggy, heck my memory is a LOT foggy but I remember it having something to do with the inductance of the 540 motors vs. the 550's.

Whether this translates to the real world or not I do not know. When I was told that (and also it would void the warranty) I decided to stick with the 550's.

What's the meaning of inductance? I once asked why some ESCs have an upper turn limit as well as a lower turn limit (12-36t for example) and someone mentioned it may be due to inductance or something....
